Text: Revelation 3:7-10, James 1:1, James 1:12
Perseverance as a word can also mean endurance, and patience. Perseverance is God’s commandment to every believer, as God promises to unleash His blessings to those who have the spirit to persevere.
Perseverance is one of the seven keys to success. Therefore, to achieve success in your spiritual life and other endeavors, you need to persevere.
A man or woman who has the Spirit of endurance will always win in life, regardless the challenge they are going through.
James 1:2-3 “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience”.
God is not interested in the size of your problem, but He is looking at your ability to endure every ugly situation you are going through.
Job is a good example of PERSEVERANCE. He lost everything he had built for years, and was even afflicted with severe sickness yet, he did not give up on God.
I decree that God will come through for you in this trying period.
God is too faithful to preserve you in tough times, only if you put your trust in Him. (Read 1Corinthians 10:13).You are encouraged to fix your eyes on Jesus who is the author and the finisher of our faith. Just forget what out are going through in that marriage, relationship, or in your finances, and fix your gaze on the prize which is Christ’s finished work on the cross of Calvary.
The glory ahead is far better than whatever challenge you have at the moment.Child of God, I see God increasing your capacity on every side. There are blessings for your perseverance.
James 1:12 “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him”.
Whatever you find yourself doing in life, do not be weary. The bible encourages us in Galatians 6:9 that we will reap the fruit of our labor if we did not faint on the way. Endure till the very end.
Sometimes, perseverance is a ” time of waiting”. Our attitude in tough times depends on the result we get.
Romans 5:5 “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us”.
The attitude of perseverance is important in every believer’s life, even as God promised that if we suffer, we shall reign with Him in glory.
Feed yourself with God’s words of promises and remember that God will surely complete the good works He has started in you.I want to assure you that having hope in God can never put you to shame.
Job in all of his suffering said ” For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth” (Job 19:25).
I pray for you…
God will complete the good works He has started in your life in Jesus name, amen!
